This is probably of general interest to this group:
Would anyone from Pixar be willing to divulge what the RenderMan
parameters were set to for rendering your movie.
Of particular interest is:
RiFormat - the size of the images rendered
RiQuantize - did you render in 16 bit
RiShadingRate – did you vary it on a per object basis and was it ever
necessary to go below 1
PixelVariance – did you change it from the default
Size of shadow maps rendered
And finally did you use Depth-Of-Field or did you fake it.
